We recently received an inquiry from a local company requesting our advice and options on lifting equipment that would suit their requirements at there new repair centre.

Originally our customer was considering 4 pedestal swing beam assemblies fixed at various work stations throughout the workshop, the problem being this would cause various other issues regarding the movement of goods and lift truck access.

On completion of a site survey and building structural survey, we offered a bespoke overhead crane build giving the customer complete coverage with a 27-metre long travel track, 12-metre span and a working height of 3 metres complete with full radio remote control, Inverter motor drives and overload detection.

On completion, proof load testing was completed throughout the track length and certification issued in accordance with lifting operations lifting equipment regulations (LOLER).
